DEEP DIVE WORKSHOP SERIES
Are you the yogi in class who dreads when the teacher says that we will be focusing on forward folds? Do you think you are just not flexible or strong enough to do certain postures? Are you curious how to deepen postures that you regularly practice in class?
Are you ready to change your mindset and discover what is possible?
If so, this workshop series is for you.
Often times, there just isn't enough time in a 60-minute class to explore in depth a particular category of postures, while making sure that we are aligning and addressing the entire physical and energetic body. This workshop series is designed to give you the tools you need to take your postures to the next level.
In each two-hour workshop, we will identify and strategically warm-up the full cast of muscles that need to be engaged to build a strong foundation for the focused posture group. Using props, we will learn tips and tricks for strengthening muscles that need to be stable and increasing flexibility in muscles that need to be open to deepen your postures.
We will break down postures step-by-step, learn variations and modifications, explore advanced postures and counter poses and then tie it all together in a flow. A year of regular yoga practice with a trained teacher is recommended.
